What better way to enjoy this great city than with sunny weather, your best friend, and a couple of beverages — all while taking in expansive vistas of Cincinnati’s rolling hills? With great service and even better jams, that’s how. It’s too bad there wasn’t Senate Poutine involved …
Top of the Park, a two-story outdoor bar perched atop the Marriott Residence Inn on Fourth Street, now enjoys two rooftop terraces with good, friendly bartenders; a reasonable beer and cocktail list (could use some more craft beer options, but the bar also features liquor choices in addition to their specialty drinks); and nearly 360 degrees of beautiful city and river views. Did I mention they were playing early-2000s jams with the likes of Ashlee Simpson serving as the soundtrack to our visit?
If you’re like me and need as much outdoor time as possible during warmer months, you absolutely must check this place out. There really is nothing like it in this great city we are lucky to call home. But be sure to check that they’re open, as they often close to the public to host private events.
