Monday Tuesday, all! I know, I know, I’m behind, but here I am with an update.
I have for you another edition of This Week in Awesome; this week not featuring a whole lot during the week, but a pretty jam-packed weekend.
The workweek included the Die Innenstadt outing and The Bailey takeover at the Cincinnati Cyclones game — drums, songs, dollar beers, and all; lunch at Currito; and my first tryst with The Nutcracker at the Aronoff since about 1992 (thanks to my friend for the great tickets).
Friday meant birthday happy hour for a friend at Blind Pig, followed by dinner at Maplewood*; while Saturday included a stop at Findlay Market for breakfast sandwiches from Eckerlin Meats; Christkindlmarkt and Graeter’s on Fountain Square; dinner at Keystone Bar & Grill Clifton; plus a late-night snack at LaRosa’s.
To finish out the weekend, we got coffee from Urbana before heading to watch soccer at Rhinehaus, then beer (including my 1000th distinct check-in!) at Moerlein Tap Room, and finally dinner at Mac’s on the Pike.
Like this past week, there is plenty to do this week and weekend. Keep your eye out on the Tour de Cincinnati Facebook page for what’s going on this weekend (a new series I’ve been posting every Thursday). Have a wonderful week!
