This Weekend in Awesome: 6/1–6/4

I have to admit: I don’t love summer.

Let me explain myself. I think that 90-degree weather with 97% humidity is miserable and it gets to a point where it’s unbearable to be anywhere but in the A/C (which I’m extremely grateful to have). Thankfully we’re at the point in the year where it’s beautiful outside (it is 59º with 44% humidity as I write this, and it’s going up to 81º) and there are so many things to do — my favorite part of the warm season. (Y’know, before it gets too hot.)

  1. I hear ya. I feel like I used to like summer, or maybe I just thought I did. Now it’s too hot, and as much as I don’t LOVE everything that winter brings, I’d honestly probably take an average winter day over an average summer day.
