Two years ago we closed on our home in Westwood. Two years ago we invested in and committed to a neighborhood we believe in.

Spring 2019

Some non-negotiables when looking for a new house were: city of Cincinnati neighborhood, walkability, close proximity to a brewery or bar (y’know, where everybody knows your name) and dog park, and—most importantly—the opportunity be be involved in the community. Because we lived in East Walnut Hills at the time, we initially focused our efforts in the Walnut Hillses, Evanston, and Pleasant Ridge. (All areas we still love.)

Truth be told, Westwood wasn’t even on our radar.

But since we have planted our roots here, we couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. We are excited to be raising a family here, being involved in Westwood Works and other civic orgs, and couldn’t be happier with our choice to call Cincinnati’s largest neighborhood home.

To us it’s more about the neighborhood than the house itself, though we absolutely love our modest yet beautiful Westwood Cape Cod. Some neighborhood favorites include: West Side Brewing, Queen City Zumbini at Madcap Education Center, Town Hall Park, Westwood Works (and Second Saturdays), Little Village Stay & Play, the friends we’ve made, the beautiful architecture, the walkability, proximity to downtown, and knowing we are raising a family in this wonderful community.

Did you know that Westwood is the only neighborhood in the US with public K through 12 Montessori schools?
