I am a 32-year-old April Fool who was born and raised in Cincinnati, except for the four (and a half) years I spent attending Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, from where I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. A self-proclaimed Cincinnati enthusiast, I started Tour de Cincinnati as a way to debunk any misconceptions that there is nothing to do in this great city. Being of the belief that “there is nothing to do in Cincinnati” is more of a testament to how unwilling a person is to get out and do things than it is an actual gauge of everything there is to do in the Queen City.

If being in the top places for affordability, relocating, visiting, spending your staycation, perusing green spaces, or starting a business aren’t enough, I have taken the liberty to share my experiences as I enjoy an ongoing Tour de Cincinnati and all of the great things there are to do, see, and eat in the area. It is my hope that this website gives its readers ideas about things to do as well as for people to share with me things that I need to try and write about, too. Let’s share in and tour this beautiful city together.

I am a Graphic Designer by profession, and in my personal life I find joy in eating like a sophisticated six-year-old, supporting local, craft beer, sports (mostly Indiana Hoosiers basketball, FC Cincinnati, and Liverpool Football Club, among others), and being a tourist in my own city.

I met my husband, “BK,” (the +1 formerly known as Date) in 2012. We got engaged in July of 2016 and eloped to the courthouse 40 days later. We are obsessed with our handsome boy: a two-year-old SAAP rescue, Franklin, who we adopted in 2015. He is a true mutt — lab/shepherd/pyrenees/staff mix — and he is the best thing. Fun fact: he loves Cincinnati almost as much as I do.

Franklin absolutely friggin’ LOVING Smale Park

Welcome to my Tour of Cincinnati!

You can also follow me on Twitter and Instagram.

Note: I am not paid to write about, photograph, or explore Cincinnati. All of my adventures are done and documented on my own accord and on my own dime (and BK’s, too, I guess).
