Haunted Houses, Trails, and Attractions

Cincinnati goes all out for haunted houses; many of which include extraordinary makeup, spooky settings, and animatronics. Here’s a list of haunted houses and trails to visit this Halloween season:

Brimstone Haunt (Wilmington) – $27 for a combo admission pass to the Haunted Hayride, Forgotten Forest, and Psychosis (new attraction in 2019). Fast Pass also available. Brought to you buy the producers of the Ohio Renaissance Festival and Celtic Fest Ohio.

The Dent Schoolhouse (Dent) – general admission starting at $20, an additional $20 for fast past admission, and an additional $30 for front of the line admission (view ticketing options here)

Haunted Village at Heritage Village – Family Friendly (Sharon Woods) – October 11–12, 18–19, 25–26, 6–10pm (entrance closes at 9p)
Admission is $10 (Heritage Village Museum members and children under 2 are free)

Highway 50 Fright Field (North Bend) – $12 admission ($10 for kids ages 12 and under) to a live haunted experience and haunted cornfield; $8 ($6 for kids) for Night-time Corn Maze admission and $12 Operation Termination Zombie Paintball. “Triple Threat” combo tickets are available for $27 ($24 for kids).

Horror Hike Haunted Trail (Lawrenceburg, IN) – $18 admission; open Fridays and Saturdays from September 20 through October 26

Ghost Tours

Do you favor the paranormal over costumes and actors? Don’t worry, there are a number of options for haunted ghost tours in Cincinnati.

Bobby Mackey’s Haunted Tours (Newport) – Tours (ages 15+) and investigations (ages 18+) are offered Friday through Sunday. A fee is required for five-hour investigations; two-hour tours are $35 per person.

Buried Secrets, Haunted Cincinnati Tours (OTR) – $25 for a two-hour outdoor walking tour to sites including Washington Park, Memorial Hall, and Music Hall

Cincinnati Ghost Tour (Clifton) – $15 for 90-minute walking tour

Haunted Brewery Tour (Christian Moerlein Brewing Co., OTR) – $25, 7–11pm

Haunted Cincinnati Tours – $25 for several two-hour outdoor walking tours, including Buried Secrets (OTR), Eerie Encounters (CBD), Ghosts of Glendale (Glendale), Ghosts of the Garden (Eden Park)

Newport is Haunted, American Legacy Tours (Newport) – $25 for a 90-minute—low intensity, stroller and wheelchair accessible—walking tour

Queen City is Haunted, American Legacy Tours (OTR) – $25 for a 90-minute walking tour; $35 for an “ultimate” tour
